Despite my hectic semester i was able to finish my wedding cake project on a good note. We were to design a 3 tier wedding cake based upon a theme we were given. Along with a tasting cake and table decorations. I am so proud of myself for the accomplishments i made. My theme was vintage/art deco. My inspiration was honestly the show Deadwood. I wanted to come up with a way to incorporate the brothell without it being rated r lol. So here is my saloon girl wedding cake!

My first wedding cake (made in class). It was a lot of fun but only had an hour to assemble and decorate so its a little rushed. But overall im happy with it. I improved ALOT on the basket weave and my first time making flowers other than roses

Im a little late posting, but here is my sons first birthday cake and his own personal smash cake. This is my first time using a fully fondant covered cake. Turned out better than anticipated but im really excited to learn more about fondant work in my wedding cakes class this semester!

So back to the good news i was going to announce... you can now find my cakes at the restaurant Roxbury Mercantile! Make sure you stop by on your way on and off edisto island for some great food!!

The unicorn/ mermaid cake turned out nicely. The bottom layer was a strawberry cake with fresh strawberry layer and the top cake was a confetti cake with a vanilla buttercream layer

Off to my friends little girls birthday. I hope the cake can handle the hour long car ride! My first attempt at a custom cake and fondant use. Turned out pretty good but I definitely know i need work in this area
