We made some new friends from Auburn, New York, who came to town to see Growing Up Atticus at the Virginia Samford Theatre and then go to Monroeville. They used Google to find the best diners, and we came out #1. We hope they enjoy their tour of all things Harper Lee.

Every day is a great day at the diner because of the wonderful people who stop by and our staff, who take great care of them.

Thank you to the “BEST” team I could ask for. It’s because of their hard work that we were recently recognized as the best diner in Birmingham based on the number and high ratings we receive through Google reviews based on data reported by Business Rate.

Thanks to all you who took the time to write a review.

Every year on March 21, World Down Syndrome Day is observed to create awareness about Down syndrome. It is a condition in which a child is born with an extra 21st chromosome. Meet David, he comes to the diner every Saturday with his grandfather and sister! Today we celebrate David and all our friends with Down syndrome.
