This month’s Booze & Bites food and wine pairing at Mud Hen Water is right around the corner! On the evening of Thursday, February 26th at 6:30pm we are excited to present a “Southern Italy Trattoria” themed menu curated by Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchant and Chef de Cuisine . Tickets are required for the event and can be found at mudhenwater.com under “events” (link in bio), or you may reserve your seat ahead of time by calling the restaurant at (808) 404-2244. Our last Booze & Bites event of 2025 is approaching and might be exactly what you’re looking for! Hosted by of Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants and Mud Hen Water’s Chef de Cuisine on Thursday, December 11th we are dubbing our holiday Booze & Bites “Our gift to you”. We will be featuring three highly exclusive wines not available for purchase in store paired with three elevated dishes that are only available during the event. For a limited time we will be running a special cocktail named “Yerba’zd” created by our talented kitchen staff member Jonah! During our staff Halloween party we held a cocktail competition open to all staff and Jonah surprised us with this floral, herbaceous, bright cocktail with gin, yerba mate, lemon, and mint. Who’s ready for this month’s Booze & Bites event titled “Wines in Disguise”? Host and wine rep has planned an interactive evening where guests will guess the region and grape varietals of each incognito wine showcased that evening. The guest who guesses the most wines in disguise correctly will be taking home a prize! Your chef for the evening will be pairing each wine with a cuisine from a different region to try and deceive your palate, the trick to go along with the treat. We also encourage our guests to wear their Halloween costumes to the event. Best costume will also take home a prize! Tickets are on sale at mudhenwater.com under the events tab. For our September “Spanish Farm to Bottle” Booze & Bites event we will be featuring organic wines from Dominio de Eguren.
Dominio de Eguren was founded by the 4th generation of the Eguren family in central Spain’s Manchuela region! The philosophy of the project is the selection and vinification of the highest quality grapes from vineyards that the family manages and farms with certified organic methods.
Their Protocolo line of wines (Blanco, Rosado, and Tinto) are vinified with a cold soak and stainless steel fermentation (no oak) to produce young, clean and high quality value wines.
