Portland Business Journal placed Indian Creek at #6 for their Best Public Courses and Tournament Sites. Yet, you only have to ask the clubhouse barkeep why people drive from Portland because she hears it every day. "This course is in amazing shape." This is by no means an accident. Tyson Jacobs, the club's GM and Superintendent knows that jaw dropping views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams don't hurt, Tyson appreciates that a great golf round requires an impressively manicured course. The chef is a New York transplant who knows great sandwiches. Gourmet salads, halibut fish & chips, homemade meatloaf, fat steaks and fresh pasta are all wolfed down with that spectacular Mt. Hood view. This all adds up to one great day trip. Golfers enjoy a round while friends and family, hike, bike, swim or enjoy some fabulous downtown shopping. Then the group meets at Divots to relax, dine and take in the scenery. So there you have it….a great course, breathtaking views, delicious food…and yet there is one thing missing. Attitude.
