It's hard to believe that we are almost half way through the season especially with this cold weather we have today. We want to thank everyone for all of the love you have shown us so far. When that sun is shining its like all of Hooksett comes out to see us and it's fantastic! While our return this year was unexpected, we are grateful to be here and are doing our best to keep the long standing tradition of the Brick House going.

That being said, the restaurant is still up for sale, and we recently lowered the price in order to make the dream of carrying on the Brick House a possible reality for someone. Not our usual type of post.... but we have to give a big shout out to our friends over at Allied Septic & Drain for dropping off a brand new portable toilet this morning. Behind every portable toilet is a person who manages it. For us, that person is Dave. Every week he comes (often with his adorable son in tow) to clean out the toilet and keep it fresh for all of our amazing customers. Thank you Dave and Allied Septic & Drain for all your hard work and being one of the many facets in what keeps the Brick House going. We appreicate you guys!

Hi everyone. Happy second day of April vacation! It was so nice to see all of the excited children enjoying the sunshine yesterday. Its a great reminder that summer is around the corner!

Because of the influx of children we saw yesterday, we unfortunately do have to make a post about parking lot safety at the restaurant. We have seen far too many cars slam on their breaks because a child has run out into the parking lot unattended. As Hooksett has grown, our parking lot has become busier. Parents, we know it can be difficult to keep an eye on your children at all times, but please please please do not let them run through the parking lot. We would really hate to see an accident happen.

We also would like to address children climbing/swinging on our railings and playing on top of our picnic tables. We know how tempting it can be to want to climb them, those railing make a great imaginary horse, but this is also a safety concern as someone could fall and hit their head. We also try our hardest to keep our tables looking nice for everyone as they get painted every year and we clean them every day. They are not meant to be stood on top of or sat on top of. This is a place where people eat their food. Unfortunately, if we see children on top of the tables/counters/railings we will need to ask you to remove them.

Lets please keep this a safe environment for everyone so that we can all keep enjoying the beautiful weather with ice cream. We appreciate your continued support and can't wait for the summer ahead!! 🌞

Lets clear some things up before rumors start flying....

There was an accident at the restaurant tonight. Nobody appeared to be injured, only shaken up. A car was pushed towards the building through the area where the line is. Nobody was in line at the time. The car did not hit the building as a bush stopped them first. While things could have turned out alot worse then it did had this been a hot, busy night, everything is OK.

There is no damage to the building and we are functioning as normal.

Update: It looks like Caramel Apple is the winner! We were told it should be released at the beginning of August so check back for that one at the end of the season. We will get Chocolate Caramel Brownie and Cookie Monster as soon as we can! 😃
