It's 🐓 processing day at Valhalla Farm. We're processing our first batch of Freedom Ranger heritage birds. They take a little longer than commercial birds but they are healthier and finish into amazing birds for the kitchen table. These birds were fed a diet consisting of our custom Central Monraba grown Organic Kamut, Wheat, Lentils, and Peas with Organic Grass Alfalfa Hay we grind fresh weekly on the farm with our hammer mill grinder. We fermented the mix with our 🐄 Kefir and Whey from making 🐐 Chevre. They started out their journey in our Joel Salatin style chicken tractor and finished on grass in our orchard.
