🎙️💫 This week, Wednesday July 22nd, at Wednesday Night Poetry at Kollective Coffee+Tea, I am proud to feature New Mexico writer and educator Ky George. Open mic starts at 6:30pm. Ky will begin her feature set at 7:30pm, followed by another round of open mic. Admission is free and open to all ages. All are welcome. WNP will always be a safe space.

⭐️ Ky George is a writer and educator living in Albuquerque, NM. A graduate of the Red Earth MFA, Ky explores the world through poetry, essay, and fiction. Their debut chapbook Common Prayers, was published by The Leaves Poetry Press in 2025.

🎙️💫 This week, Wednesday July 15th, at Wednesday Night Poetry at Kollective Coffee+Tea, I am proud to double feature Hot Springs poet and chef Geovanni J Cisneros, and Little Rock poet and author Toni J Garcia Butler. Open mic starts at 6:30pm. Geo and Toni will begin their double-feature set at 7:30pm, followed by another round of open mic. Admission is free and open to all ages. All are welcome. WNP will always be a safe space.

⭐️ Geovanni J. Cisneros or (Geo) uses he/ him pronouns and is a 28 year old Trans poet. He is a chef who finds and shares healing through creative expression, whether that be through words or cooking. A spiritual person drawn to nature and stones, he brings warmth and generosity to his work and relationships. His poetry explores themes of identity, community, and the natural world. When not writing or in the kitchen, you'll find him singing karaoke with friends or wandering outside among the trees.

⭐️ Toni Garcia-Butler (he/him) is a writer and creative facilitator rooted in Little Rock, Arkansas. Named by the Arkansas Times as Arkansas’s Best Poet of 2025, Toni encourages others to transform lived experience into poetic personal archive. His work centers and connects his people: Black, Fil-am, transqueer, southern. Toni is the author of DIY Body, the fourth installment of Sibling Rivalry Press’s Arkansas Q***r Poets Series.
