Proverbs 16:9— In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
A lot of the decisions I've made haven't necessarily been in alignment with what God has for me, and accepting that has been a humbling experience.
Learning when to let doors close instead of forcing them open is a lot harder than it sounds.
Especially when you've allowed your self-esteem to become tied to the success you believe your friends, family, and clients expect to see from you.
Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between pursuing something because God is leading you there and pursuing it because you feel like you have something to prove.
And that's been a hard lesson for me.
So, with that being said, there will no longer be a PREPZ storefront in Houma or Terrebonne Parish.
Instead, we're moving forward with a commissary-based operation, focusing on delivery and convenient office pickup in Lafourche Parish and soon the surrounding area.
(Terrebonne clients can only pickup - for a discount btw 🫶🏻)
It's a different direction than the one I originally envisioned, but I'm learning that different doesn't necessarily mean disappointing.
Sometimes the door closing is just as much a blessing as the one opening.
But this isn't goodbye. It's to be continued…
Stay tuned! 😁
