You know me as your baker, but did you also know I’m a big fan of immersing myself in a good book? I'll often choose to read instead of watching TV and can knock out a good book within a day or two. Some of my favorites are Twilight (I've read it every year since 2009!), The Divergent series, and ACOTAR. I'm currently in the middle of the Throne of Glass series.

I love books so much that I created a book themed cookie decorating class that I'm teaching on Wednesday, September 16th. If you'd like more info, check out the event page!

Today is World Chocolate Day! Did you know that chocolate has been used to treat fever, digestion issues, melancholy (definitely believe that one!) and was even a form of currency. It was recently discovered that cocoa can help you have smoother, more hydrated skin, too! 🏃‍♀️‍➡️BRB, replacing my electrolytes with a chocolate drink! 😂
