Our restaurant originally opened in 2019 as Dan's Seafood & Wings but we wanted to share some family recipes with our beloved City of Houston! SOUTH by Saigon (SxS) is a culmination of Southern inspired foods with heavy influences from our Vietnamese heritage. We combine Vietnamese, Cajun and Texan recipes to introduce a new concept to the city. Our family is from South Vietnam, and we have deep r
oots in the South where we grew up. The new menu will be inspired by dishes you have come to know and love, as well as, new dishes inspired by family recipes. It's not just Viet-Cajun - It's Viet-TEX. We'll still have some familiar dishes - Boiled Seafood, Fried Fish and Shrimp, Wings, etc. AND we're adding some new items that you'll love!
