We just returned from a wonderful couple of weeks in Crete. Every visit leaves me in awe of the incredible hospitality, the exceptional food, and the deep pride the people have in their culture and traditions.

And then there’s the scenery. Watching the sun set over the iconic lighthouse of Chania during dinner was one of those moments that reminds you just how breathtaking this island is.

Chania holds a special place in our hearts, as it’s close to where my Papou grew up. Being here always feels like a connection to our family’s roots, and each visit leaves me even more grateful for that bond.

There is a Greek Easter egg game that we would play with my Papou. Each of us would hold a bright red, hard-boiled egg and take turns tapping them against one another, trying to be the last one standing with an uncracked egg.

This tradition inspired a menu item on our Easter pre-order options. Beet dyed Deviled Eggs.
