So, while you'll find signature dishes like campechana, seafood gumbo and whole stuffed flounder on the menu, you won't find sauces or heavy layers of breading to mask the flavor of the fish. 🪝 Goode Company Seafood was born out of a desire to bring founder Jim Goode’s childhood memories of fresh Gulf seafood to his Houston neighbors.
 
Back in the 80s, most established seafood joints came with white tablecloths and stiff service, and no one was grilling over mesquite wood. With Jim’s vision (and an Amtrak train car), Goode Co. Seafood became a come-as-you-are classic, proving you can have damn good quality without the fuss.
 
Fast forward to today, that mission hasn’t changed. We’ve grown, evolved, and we’ve never once compromised on what matters most.

To help us celebrate, we invite you - our neighbors - to join us all summer long in shucking oysters, clinking glasses, and savoring the kind of meals that turn into memories.
