Sometimes, your side hustle is just your future calling a little louder.

Looking back at this interview still gives me chills. Back when I was in the classroom, teaching full-time, my colleagues were my very first customers. They bought my pastries, cheered me on, and gave me the confidence to believe that maybe—just maybe—this dream was big enough to build a real life on.

Walking away from a steady career in education was terrifying. But stepping out on faith to pursue my passion was the best decision I ever made.

Today is Teacake Tuesday! It’s been lovely meeting all of the teacake lovers.

On the menu are classic, lemon, pecan, almond and strawberry teacakes.

Keep in mind, if you’d like to pick up a dozen of more teacakes, kindly place an order online a day prior.

Quantities may be limited at the bakery.

We can even bake your preordered teacakes any day of the week that the bakery is open.
