We are introducing a new award for Team Sportsmanship. Many of you know Ed Johnson who was a member of our league and North Harris County for many years passed away this month. Ed was the epitome of good sportsmanship. He was a pleasure to play against and always had a good Bitcoin or salt water fish tank ownership story to tell. Even when he was struggling with pain in his shoulder, and symptoms of ALS, he kept a smile on his face and never complained or blamed a loss on his condition. He just took it in stride and had a great night no matter what.

To honor Ed, we are awarding the new 'Ed Johnson Sportsmanship Award' for League Year 2025-2026 to Shooting Impaired of the Magnolia Division. This team has consistently received high sportsmanship points and many compliments regarding their conduct during league play. They are quick to make a visiting team feel at home when playing at their home host location. Thank you Shooting Impaired for making Montgomery County APA a place where players want to be.

Reminder - we wanted to remind all MoCo APA players that smoking at the pool table is NOT allowed during league. Even if you do this when you’re playing at a host location outside of league night, it’s not allowed during league play. We appreciate your help in taking care of the tables and other equipment at our host locations.

Hey there MVP's. I wanted to let you all know that the shirts and plaques are all ordered and are in production. We will deliver them to you at league in the next couple of weeks. These take time to get ordered and made so we appreciate your patience.

For those of you that I owe and 8 On The Break patch, those should be in soon too and will be in your patch pouch. I have not forgotten about them, they were backordered by the manufacturere.
