A recent study from JAMA showed that an anti-inflammatory diet may play an important role in reducing dementia risk — even among people already at higher biological risk for the condition. A key takeaway: instead of looking for a single 'superfood' or choosing a strict diet, focus on your overall eating pattern. https://www.cnn.com/2026/07/06/health/anti-inflammatory-diet-dementia-wellness

To learn more incorporating brain-healthy foods into your diet, join us for our free Brain Health lunch and learn called 'Food For A Healthier Brain', held August 8 at Amazing Place West from 12-1pm. Registration is free on our website! https://www.amazingplacehouston.org/brain-health/brain-health-matters-presentations/

Healthy eating may help protect the brain, even after early biological changes linked to Alzheimer’s disease have begun, a study suggests. Dr. Leana Wen explains.
