This is really disappointing to read that a community we just joined is treating our fellow Natives and food truck owners this way. As enrolled tribal members that visited our Rez often, we were so excited to see a truck in our area offering the community the food we grew up eating and love so much.

Please be kind and if you see them out, show them some love 💕 Their fry bread tacos are amazing and they’ve been nothing but nice every time we stop! We hope the community shows them this is not the treatment they should expect here ❤️

Hudson.... im not impresses....on top of being looked at like we are illegal aliens.... white peope avoiding our truck liek they might catch soethingnfi the get to close.....my 14 year old son had to be a witness to how people are....to yell "We dont want your frybread here" on his first window weekend...just breaks my heart.... do you think the BBQ truck ever had anything like that yelled at their truck??....everyone goes through it right?....wrong!....to everyone that continues tot elk me its the intersection....its this tha tand the other thing...WRONG! THIS COUNTRY HAS A PROBLEM AND IT MAKES ME SICK! Do better

**UPDATE: We will be closed for the 4th due to staffing, thank you for your understanding!***

Day one is officially in the books and we couldn’t be happier!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better Grand Opening even with the few hiccups we encountered.

The day started out crazy with no gas, all brakes at the restaurant while simultaneously all gas no brakes on the road as one of our owners got rear ended getting here! Thankfully no damage was done and Emily got here safe and sound 🤗

Seeing so many new faces, familiar faces from our food truck days, and the support from this community means more to us than we can put into words.

Thank you to everyone who waited in line, cheered us on, shared our posts, and chose to spend part of your day with us. This restaurant has been a dream in the making, and yesterday reminded us exactly why we took the leap.

As we grow our team, we’re taking the time to train everyone the right way. That means we’ll have limited hours for the restaurant and limiting the days the food truck is out for a little while as we get into our rhythm. We’d rather do it right than rush it, and we appreciate your patience while we build something great. We will post our schedule as far in advance as we can so keep an eye out for that!

Our goal we have in mind once we are fully staffed up is to be open 6am-10pm so we will update you all when we expand our hours consistently!

This is only the beginning for Bueno Street Kitchen. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to keep serving fresh, flavorful food to everyone who comes through the doors!

30 days ago we got the keys to an incredible opportunity. Tomorrow we open the doors to start serving all of you in our own restaurant right off Exit 4 in Hudson, 606 Brakke Drive!

Are we 100% ready? No. There are still some finishing touches, some signage, a little interior design, some open employment slots, and a beer/wine permit we’re still waiting on. Bear with us over the next 30 days while we button things up.

But we set a date to open the doors and the food is as incredible as it always has been, so we’re opening up regardless of a few missing components.

We couldn’t have done all this without help from a massive community of people. From help on the truck, to cleaning support, recommendations from friends to various vendors, and support from our existing customer base on the truck - we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone that lent a hand in making tomorrow real.

The community behind us is truly what makes this “nacho average taco place”

A little throwback to where it all began…

In 2023, we opened our very first food stand at the Mille Lacs Powwow, where many of you got to know us as Bueno’s Burritos. What started as a small stand to help offer a healthier alternative at the powwows has grown into something we could have never imagined.

It’s hard to believe that next week we’ll be opening the doors to our very first restaurant. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way, from our OG customers who believed in us from day one to everyone who joined us on this journey since!

Thank you for helping make this dream a reality. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new space July 1st 😊
