1728 customers, 3127 sandwiches, and 420 charcuterie boards later, it’s time to say goodbye to 63a main street. While a very difficult decision, I’m so happy to walk away knowing this little shop was a success, and a place I poured my heart and soul into. I'm not an entrepreneurial expert, but I wanted to share a few things I learned (or were made more apparent) over the last year.
🌿If you have a dream, GO FOR IT.
🌿 I have the absolute BEST family and friends anyone could ask for, ever.
🌿All moms are rock stars but mine is truly in a different league. I don’t want to think about where i’d be without her
🌿Hudson residents are genuinely the most pleasant, supportive and lovely group of people I've met. Thank you.
🌿Being part of the community as a business owner was one of my greatest joys. If you love your town, I encourage you to become a deeper part of it.
🌿Support local. Whenever you can.
🌿It is okay to walk away. Trust your gut.
🌿My best friend and fiance continues to be my biggest supporter, sounding board and confidant. I love you!
So what’s next? I’ll still be fulfilling charcuterie orders out of a new kitchen space. I get to marry my bestie. I get to see a few of my besties marry theirs, welcome a perfect niece or nephew in a few days (!!!!), take the next exciting step in my “day job” and continue to make my house a home. I am so excited for what’s next and I really cannot express my gratitude for the support over the last year.
