PLEASE READ if you're interested in applying!

We're blessed and grateful for the number of requests for information on how to apply. I'm not always online and do not want anyone to think they're being ignored.

Things that are important to know, upfront:

Hueytown Harvest is a certified farmers' market. Everything offered at our farmers' market is grown, raised, and made in Alabama. No reselling is allowed. *We are not a flea market, though I do enjoy the hunt at a good flea market! We have high standards and believe in quality over quantity. If we receive a sample and believe it needs improvement, we will let you know. I am the person who tells people's grandmothers they need to work on their recipe and to reapply next season. This does not make me popular. I am also the person who takes Tinkerbell or Peter Pan off the schedule when she/he doesn't think the rules apply to them. Yeah, that usually doesn't go over well either! Just letting ya know how we operate. I will give you the shirt off my back and work very hard to help you build your brand and client base, while at the same time, we have a no-drama, no-prima-donna policy! I am a co-founder, the President of our Board of Directors, and the one who manages the market. This market matters to me. I/we have built it from the ground up; I'm passionate about building a team worthy of a 'National Championship'. That's a metaphor; I'm competitive and like sports. Though some of our goals may be different, we operate as a team, are committed, everyone is equally valued, the rules apply to all of us, and we have a good time! Qualifying Dependents – Did You Know?

In addition to your children and parents, a number of other individuals may qualify as your dependents for tax purposes. Important factors can include the person's income, how much support you provide, and how much of the year the person lives with you. In some limited cases, even a non-relative who lives with you year round as a member of your household may qualify as a dependent.
