Throwing it back to one of our favorite visits this summer! 💙

Back in June, Jack & the Bean had the opportunity to visit the Multi-County 4-H Camp at the Cabell County 4-H Camp in Barboursville, and what an incredible day it was!

Jack and Kasey did an amazing job representing Jack & the Bean. They shared their stories, talked with campers about autism and the abilities of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and then served up some delicious drinks for everyone to enjoy. We even wrapped up the visit with a fun line dance together! 🤠💃

One of the best parts was hearing the feedback from campers afterward. Camp counselors shared comments like:
💙 “They were so brave to talk in front of a group.”
💙 “I didn’t know autism meant smart!” (After Jack and Kasey amazed everyone by quickly calculating campers’ ages from their birth years—and Kasey even told them their astrological signs!)
💙 “They dance better than me!” 😄

Moments like these remind us that conversations build understanding, friendships break down barriers, and everyone has unique gifts to share.

A big thank you to the campers, counselors, and staff for welcoming us. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to visit again!
