❤️📸 HURON, WE’RE GOING DOWN MEMORY LANE — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

DO YOU REMEMBER THE PLAINS?

Our owner recently brought out some wonderful old photographs of The Plains, and they got us thinking…

How many more treasured memories are tucked away in photo albums throughout Huron?

Did you know The Plains once had a roller rink? A beautiful formal dining room? A lively bar with regular live music? A café that was open 24 hours a day? And, of course, the bowling alley that’s been here through it all!

We’re starting a special project called “The Plains — Through the Years.”

We want to bring the history of this Huron landmark back to life by creating a nostalgic photo display right here at The Plains.

And we need YOUR help!

If you have old photographs, newspaper clippings, advertisements, or even a favorite story about The Plains, we’d love to hear from you.

You don’t have to part with your originals. We can work with copies or digital pictures.
