WHAT. A. SENDOFF.
The likely most appropriate words are hard to come by…. However, we want everyone to know how truly thankful we are to all of our customers over our 43 years of business. The outpouring of support this weekend was humbling.
Thank you all for your final trip in. Thank you for the kind words and well wishes. Thank you for the thoughtful cards and gifts. Thank you to the sweet little boy who dressed to the nines to celebrate his last trip to one of his favorite places. Thank you all for your hugs and even those tears.
The only unfortunate thing about being so busy this weekend was not having more time to visit with each of you.
Claire, one of our special waitresses over the years, said it best “Sunnyside was like Cheers without the beer”. We love that! We love the Sunnyside family that became molded over the years. We loved watching family’s grow. We loved watching our own four children grow up here. We loved being involved with peoples day to day lives.
I’m going to stop now. The tears are here..I could go on forever. But the take home is this: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! YOU WILL ALL BE MISSED!!
