Well everyone, last night, The Local officially poured its last beer. We’d like to thank everyone in our “Local Militia” one more time from the bottom our hearts. We have met so many great friends here over the years and have a some of the best memories with all of you! We will forever keep those in our hearts. We’d like to thank all of our staff throughout the years. You have all been so fu***ng great! Even if you weren’t the best employee, we always loved your different personalities! 😂. Sending everyone the best!

Amanda and I would like to thank the Incline Village community for the continued support over the last ten years from us at The Local. We sadly are being forced to close our doors and stop all business as of September 30th. We can not thank all of our friends and family for the support and love we have recived here over the years. We will be having a closing party tomorrow Saturday the 16th. If you have ever been in or stopped by you know how much this community has meant to us and how much we will miss serving all of you.

So if your around please stop by and say good bye to us in the traditional Local style where family and friends are always welcome.

I have been here since 1999 and loved every moment living in such a beautiful place. I have made so many great friends here and really dont want to leave. My wife Amanda Leahy Thomason and I met here in 2007 and started our family 12 years ago this month. Every moment has been special and we will cherish every single one of them for the rest of our lives. Our children were born here, have grown up here and will miss being here at the lake every day.

We are gutted buy the decision to leave and move on to our new life in Reno but alas we have and will continue being business owners down there.

If you have the chance please come by and see us at our restaurant The Kitchen Table Reno and say hello.
