Two years ago today, we signed the papers and got the keys to the building that would become Sparks in the Valley. ✨
As siblings who grew up in this valley with deep family ties to this land, it has always felt personal to us. At the time, it was an idea, a leap of faith, and a whole lot of work ahead. Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into transforming this historic space in the Laurel Highlands into something rooted in community, connection, creativity, and good food & drinks.
In just two years, we’ve:
🛠️ completely renovated the property
☕ opened our café & shop
💛 built relationships with incredible customers
✨ worked alongside an amazing team
🎉 hosted dozens of celebrations & events
🛍️ curated unique gifts & local finds
🥐 served a whole lot of delicious drinks, treats, soups, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, and more
It’s honestly wild to think how far we’ve come from the day we first held those keys in our hands. There have been long days, unexpected challenges, so much learning as we go, and even more moments that reminded us why we started this in the first place.
Thank you for believing in this unexpected dream and for making Sparks in the Valley what it is today. We’re so excited for everything still to come.
