Yaz's is a popular local site for a great sandwich (ham, turkey, or salami; club, BLT, Italian, Chicken salad, and tuna salad); Salad (garden, chef, Blue Cheese, or Italian); wraps; three kinds of hot dogs; and a few Mexican flavors (burritos, tacos, and nachos). Open through the week from 10 to 2 pm. Please Note: Cash Only. 🔆 Yaz's is a close spot to grab lunch after visiting one of the kids' favorite— or the young at heart— destinations, Chillermania, the headquarters of celebrated author, Johnathan Rand (www.americanchillers.com). Yaz's is also the perfect place to pick up a picnic lunch and head to a local beauty spot to enjoy it, like Topinabee Beach Park, where you can enjoy your picnic, swim, and play. (Adjacent to an historic library that used to be a train station, located at 1576 N. Straits Hwy).
🌲 Indian River RV Resort is a great place to find simple pleasures, like picnics, hiking, and water sports down by the river. And right here at the resort is a pretty great place to hang out, too. You can play sand volleyball, teach your dog to do an agility course, swim in the heated pool, and stroll on the nature trail.
