Golden Ace History in honor of Trivia Friday at 8pm with guest host John Hegarty!

The bar was named the Golden Ace for no particular reason, but John and Ann McGinley decided to add the word “Inn” because it sounded vaguely European. There was a brief period in the late 1930s when name was changed to the Emerald Isle, but business dropped off due to anti-Irish sentiment. It’s been the Golden Ace ever since.
