I just love arranging flowers, especially when I get creative freedom, the chance to design what I'm picturing in my head and would never find in a flower shop's cooler somewhere.
I wish sending arrangements like this was more common. It is always for funerals that these elaborate or out of the ordinary styles can come out. I have always loved making "funeral" flower arrangements, but it is always heartbreaking. I wish it was normal to have something like this just sitting on a desk somewhere. I'll try to keep this in mind next time I want to make an arrangement for myself, to think outside the "norm". Until then, I'll keep arranging flowers for funerals with the image I form in my mind.
I always want to send flowers when we lose someone we know. And I want to be the one to make them. The only thing I do while arranging them is think of the life lost. The memories, no matter how seemingly insignificant. The impact they had on those around them. The void they'll leave after they're gone. The importance of being as present as possible in every moment that we have left.
Hug your loved ones often, and don't let little things keep you down when life really is so good ❤️
