It’s been one heck of a year for Momma D. She had to go in for another surgery yesterday. She was dealing with 2 hernias and adhesions on her colon that had to removed. Momma D is definitely hoping 2027 will be a healthier year and we can get back on the road with the food truck.
I hope you are all doing well, we definitely miss all of our amazing customers. We apologize for not being able to serve you for awhile now but Momma D’s health has not been very good this year and we need to get her back on her feet she is the Italian Queen of meatballs and cannolis. Lol lol

We know Momma D hasn’t posted in awhile here is an update: Momma D is having to go in for surgery again this time she has two hernias. Surgery will be at the end of October. Please keep Momma D in your prayers it has been a very rough year health wise. We are looking forward to getting back on the road with the food truck in 2027 and are praying for a healthy 2027. We will keep everyone posted. Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Hello we just wanted to give an update on Momma D she has not been feeling well for months and finally received the reason why…It was her Gallbladder. She had surgery last week and is dealing with her healing which also comes with a lot of back pain. Her gall bladder was only working 17% and her intestines and esophagus was so inflamed from the infection in her body that they had to go through her chest to get the gallbladder out. She has the smaller incisions in her stomach area but also an incision (1 1/2 inch) in her chest to help with the removal. Her health has not been the best so we are trying to make some decisions if we will be back at the end of the year or beginning of 2027. We will keep everyone updated. Thank you everyone for understanding. 🙏❤️

Momma D wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to take the rest of the year off from the food truck. I have been having a lot of health issues with my heart, chest pain and back issues. I was in the hospital a week ago with heart problems, then this Thursday I am going for a scope down my throat and a nuclear scan after that. I just feel that I need to take care of myself and heal properly so I can come back 100% feeling my best to serve you our delicious meals. I appreciate each and everyone of you for always supporting us. I will keep you all posted with updates and when we will be back. This getting older stuff is rough…lol lol
