Katie’s Kantina meets the Badlands, South Dakota - summer 2023 ☀️🌮🩷
What a Summer! It was full of hard work, running, sweat, new friends, and flies. The flies! No one knew what this little food truck would be capable of doing. But I think these pictures paint the perfect picture. It brought people together.
I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the town of Interior for welcoming me, accommodating me, supporting me and being apart of my journey. In May, I had no idea what I was going into but I can now say, Interior was the perfect location for me to grow, for my business to grow.
A big shout out the Interior Volunteer Fire Department for making accommodations for the food truck and opening their doors for me. You guys ROCK.
My time there was so short, but oh so sweet. Thank you to all of the locals that stopped in, welcomed me and befriended me. I’m forever grateful for this community. I’m now back in Boise gearing up for a winter of teaching but my heart will be in SD dreaming of making you all tacos and nachos! I’m already counting down the days until I’m back in May of 2024 ☀️🌮🩷
