Update: Rob hooked us up. The smoker is at the house. Thank you everyone.

Does anyone have a machine that can lift that smoker up from the front of the shop?

Need to get that on my trailer and to the house by end of the month. Any day/time is fine.

An Update from Next Door Subs

We won't beat around the bush. We're closed.

In early October, we faced yet another issue with the building. It was the latest in a long line of problems, and while it wasn't the only factor in our decision, it was the deciding one.

But this isn't the end of Next Door Subs!

We've purchased a food cart, and once I finish the closure paperwork for the building, I'll get the cart registered and start working toward reopening in a new format.

The cart is smaller, so we won't be able to offer our full menu. However, it will give us the opportunity to FINALLY add some fried options that we've wanted to bring to you!

We know this is an unexpected change, and we appreciate everyone who has supported us along the way. Your support has meant a lot to us, and we're not ready to call it quits.

We look forward to serving our community again as soon as possible.

Stay tuned for updates on our next chapter!

I apologize for the silent treatment. I'll have an update and explanation this week.

10/07/2026

We have not gotten a time frame yet on the drain lines being cleared.

I'll be honest, this isn't looking great for the shop.

10/06/2026

We're still working woth the land lord to try and clear the main drain line. We will let everyone know when we can open again....

10/04/2026

Well... rotorouter has been called by the property manager. Im waiting to hear back on when they'll come out to clear the line. Im gonna see if we can fast track the food cart. Will keep everyone posted.

Today marks a massive achievement for the team. I didn't believe it when someone came in and said this. I had the cashier at restaurant depo gainesville confirm it, just to be sure my search history was throwing off my results.

Thank you Interlachen.

Thank you Mr. Vic, Lil Vic, Izzy and Matt.

We're gonna run this another week!

LOST — CASH ENVELOPE

Unfortunately, friday afternoon an envelope containing cash was accidentally lost somewhere along SR 20 between our shop and the grocery store (formerly Hitchcock).

If you found an envelope in that area, please send us a message. We can verify the details to make sure it gets back to the right person.

We'd really appreciate any help sharing this. Thank you!
