Failed to get a picture with V Fixmer-Oraiz for Johnson County Supervisor, but it's always SO great to catch up with my local elected friends, share what we're seeing and hearing from our constituents, and ensure that we're on the same page for our future!

More details on ZōeticCoffee's upcoming opening at South District Market! Zōetic will be opening for business on December 1st, with initial hours planned to be: M-Sat: 7am-11am

Zōetic Coffee is built on a simple, yet powerful, idea held by founder Lisa Bishop for two decades: that coffee can be a catalyst for meaningful relationships and strong community. Zoetic opened their first family-rooted location in Solon, Iowa in 2021 and quickly became a cherished local spot.
Four years later, we are excited to announce their expansion! Right here at the South District Market, opening December 1, 2025! They will be operating with limited hours initially as they staff up and get to know their new neighbors.
Come enjoy a taste of joy in your day: a sip, a bite, a smile, and over-time a transformation.

South of 6 has helped coordinate numerous events at the South District Market, and has been a wonderful resource to us. Please consider looking into this great program further!

if you live, work, or run a business in the South of 6 district or you’ve got an idea for a public event, we want to hear it.

The new So.6 Event Partnership Program is designed to help neighbors, local entrepreneurs, and community groups bring their events to life. Whether it’s a market, festival, performance, or something new, we’re here to support your vision.

In the first year, participants can receive up to $2,000 in funding, along with real support, from permits to flyers to basic web setup. Over the next two years, we’ll work together to build something sustainable, while gradually stepping back so you can keep the momentum going.

If your event brings people together and happens right here in the South of 6 district, you’re eligible.
