Wine, fresh charcuterie, and live Jazz music on the streets of Iowa City. Name a better trio, we’ll wait.🍷🎶

The Iowa City Jazz Festival is one of our favorite weekends of the year, and Bread Garden is the perfect home base. Swing by and grab a bottle from the wine bar, a charcuterie board piled high, seasonal sides from the hot bar, and a loaf of sourdough to round out the spread.

Everything is made in-house and ready to go. Summer of the Arts brings the music July 3rd through 5th, and BG brings the flavor. We’ll Meet you at the Market!

Meet Jim Mondanaro, the man behind Bread Garden Market.

In 1995, Jim opened a small bakery and café in Iowa City. Scratch-made food, a neighborhood feel, and a community that kept coming back. What started on a corner grew into the full gourmet grocery, bakery, and catering business you walk into today, right in the heart of Downtown Iowa City.
