We have an announcement after making a decision. Some may disagree but we need to do what makes sense business wise and for ourselves financially. Unfortunately it just hasn't been busy enough in Island Pond for a real BBQ place. We have to smoke and sell a certain amount of meat to make the long hours of the process worth it. We sell more on the food truck in an average day then we do doing a full lunch and dinner shift up there. Our heart lies in the food truck and catering industry and thats what we will continue to do. We are super excited to take this week to finish the food trailer we have been working on and get it buttoned up so we can get back on the road. Thank you to all the new and loyal customers we have gained in Island Pond. We are still up there cooking so if your in town and looking for something simply send us a message or give us a call ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thanks everyone.

Alright guys come on out to Island Pond for the grand finale with a day full of events. Kick ass band starting at 6, with the best fireworks show in the NEK at dusk. Not to mention the best bbq around. I prepped and cooked like an absolute menace all week in this heat and I would love to sell it all. Its not often we are open on a Sunday so here ya go. We open at 11am and the only thing we are out of is chicken. Thanks everyone.

We will be open today Friday July 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 11am until sold out. We are right next to the music in Island pond. Come take a break in our outdoor seating, stop in and order or call 802-723-1042 for take out. Its looking like a beautiful 4th of July weekend celebrating 250 years of Independence. Live music all 3 evenings with fireworks on Sunday. We hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend. We also will have 10lb bags of ice available $6 each or 2 for $10.

Tomorrow night you wont want to miss this, Jamie Lee Thurston a stones throw away from the shop. Honestly what more could you want on a Friday night BBQ and award winning music. I have been prepping for 2 days still out here now let's see what we can do.

The last time we played Island Pond, Lakeside Park was absolutely packed!
You helped make it one of the best nights we’ve ever had. An unbelievable crowd. Incredible energy. One of those shows you talk about long after it’s over.

Just a reminder Smokin Somethin BBQ will not be open tomorrow Thursday July 2nd. I need another day to prep to be open for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at 11am.
