It is with both gratitude to our loyal customers and a heavy heart that we announce that after 53 wonderful years, the Royal Court has closed its doors for the last time, ending an era of service to Ithaca that has brought us immense joy and pride. As many of you are aware, Marilyn and Dorothy, two sisters who founded and lovingly operated this business for over five decades, have both faced significant health challenges in the past few months. Sadly, neither of them can carry on running it anymore and our family has made the very difficult choice to close to prioritize caring for them at this time.
Words cannot fully convey our appreciation to every customer, staff member, and friend who has chosen to spend time with us over the years. Generations of our family were raised within these walls, and each of you became a part of our extended family, leaving a mark on our lives and on the history of the Royal Court. We will miss serving and connecting with you above all, and remain forever grateful for the inspiring legacy Marilyn and Dorothy built—one that will never be forgotten.
