ve off a homemade vibe, hence the " country comfort" in our name. Besides the goods in our shop, we also bake buns for local businesses: Bob's Sub Shop (in Slippery Rock) and
Jean's Super Subs (in Grove City). During major holidays, order forms will be available with special and essential food items that can be picked up later. Christmas is our busiest time of year, so be sure to place an order asap! After Christmas, the bakery is usually closed for the month of January.

Good morning! We have room for a few more cookie orders for the Thursday pick up date.
In case you missed the post, we will make our cutout cookies only for pick up Thursday, July 2nd, in the afternoon from 2-6. If you'd like some, please call (724)931-0436 and reserve yours. They will be decorated with a patriotic design. These pictures are from previous years. They are $17 a dozen. Thanks!

Good morning Bakery friends! We have been getting messages inquiring about the 4th of July. We will not be open Saturday the 4th. We intend on having the July pop up on Saturday,July 18. That day works the best for our family and helpers.
We are going to try something for next week, the week of the 4th of July holiday. Our cutout cookies are a customer favorite. We can offer a limited amount of cutout cookies for pre-order and pickup. They are $17/dozen. Pick up would be on Thursday the 2nd from 2:00-6:00.
The cuouts will be decorated with patriotic design. This picture is from a previous year, but it gives you an idea of what they'll be like. We would like you to call (724)931-0436, that's a helper's number, to place your order. She'll take your order and then you can pick up on Thursday. ONLY orders calling (724)931-0436 will be taken, up to 50 dozen total. DO NOT call if you can not pick up Thursday between 2:00 and 6:00. The shop is not fully open. There will be nothing else for sale, but someone will be there those hours to get you your pre-ordered cookies.
We hope this works well and gets at least some of you some patriotic sweets for your weekend celebrations. Thanks!

Good morning! We are ready for business. We were up all night and there's a lot of good stuff! Fresh donuts, including our silly "Dad" and "Grandpa" donuts, coffee cakes, sticky rolls, cinnamon rolls and Danish, cookies, decorated cutout cookies with "Dad" or watermelon shaped, pepperoni and cheese rolls, homestyle white and raisin cinnamon bread, hamburger buns, dessert cakes, cookie cakes, fresh strawberry pies, coconut and banana cream pies, fruit pies....come take a look at it all! Open until1:00. Call if you'd like something set aside. (814)786-7349 Cindy's got a lot of fresh eggs. Her chickens must be happy! She's running a sale at $1.50/ dozen .

Hello bakery friends! We've been working hard the last few days preparing for the pop up tomorrow. We've got a lot of items ready. More will be done tonight.
