Outside is…. A lot in Michigan right now. But you know what’s a lot in a good way?

Crookies.

Today we have a full case, 3 flavors of scones, Crookies, and cinnamon rolls are on their final proof! SO many option!

Also, this sticker from Just Follow Your Art has been restocked in the store so many times. Partly because there is one on each of my water bottles. But also partly because carbs deserve all of the celebrations. ♥️🥐

Open today 10-6 and tomorrow 10-2! We will restock some of our specialty items as we can but others are while they last!! (Crookies and Cinnamon Rolls are especially delicious heated up the next day…. Just saying.)

Ahhh…. Remember the good ol days when the sky was blue?

We hope everyone is staying safe with the wild fire smoke!! (And with the actual fires in Canada and Minnesota!)

To hopefully break up your feed from that and the lettuce “issue” here is a beautiful Lambeth cake I was able to do a few weeks back! Being able to play with color on these is so much fun! You can go as simple or as bold as you want and it always turns out amazing!

We have a few weekends fully booked in August and September already so if you are hoping to snag a Five Forks cake or other treats we highly suggest putting in an inquiry soon!!

I was driving the other day and happened upon a small flower stand at the end of the driveway. Being a small business owner and having so many flower friends with similar setups I had to stop. The flowers were beautiful and I made sure to write in their book and I wrote, “Thank you for sharing your joy!”

That’s exactly what we as small business owners are trying to do. Long days, more bills than anyone wants, economic woes…. And smiles. So many smiles from everyone who comes in for anything from a single macaron to the biggest tiered wedding cakes we make.

We love what we do and love sharing that joy with you all. It is infectious both ways!

This lovely birthday cake was ordered for a weekend long celebration of their mom and their request was “to make sure we have lots of leftovers to last the weekend!” Now that’s my kind of celebration! 😉

Thank you for continuing to support us and all of the small businesses you can. We know times are hard and only getting harder so we are grateful every single day we get to open that door at 10AM!

Talk about the dog days of summer……. 🔥☀️🔥 (get it?!)

With all of these sunny summer days we’ve been getting more and more outdoor activity themed cakes like this great golf cake for a birthday!

Going in the case now! Chocolate chip cookie and S’mores cinnamon rolls!

Both are our brioche dough with the classic cinnamon roll filling. The chocolate chip cookie has chunks of chocolate chip cookie baked in the middle, topped with brown butter buttercream and edible cookie dough bits. The S’mores has crushed graham crackers and chocolate chips in the middle and topped with a marshmallow buttercream with marshmallows and chocolate shavings 🤤🤤🤤

Available today 10-2 while supplies last! We also restocked our sold out coconut cream scones! And have the case full!!

Craving something a little ~extra~ for breakfast?

Today we have CROOKIES, Coconut Cream scones, Chocolate Peanut Butter scones and two different flavors of cinnamon rolls are in the oven!!!
