4th of July weekend in Southeast Missouri is one of a kind 🇺🇸

👇Here’s a quick reminder of our updated Holiday weekend hours. We’re serving all day Friday, as well as Breakfast and Lunch Saturday before taking the afternoon off to celebrate with friends and family. We’ll be back open normal hours on Sunday July 5th.

🍳 We’d love to have you and your family in for a sit down meal before or in-between all the fun 4th festivities. From the annual car show, to the 5K run/walk, and the infamous Mud Volleyball, Jackson MO does the Fourth of July like no one else. You can bet we’ll have our eyes on the city park come time for fireworks in the evening.

Red, white, & blue just like YOU 🇺🇸

The idea behind soaking stale bread in a milk an egg mixture far outdates even France itself, but the recipe has long since evolved here in North America.

💭 Many iterations were passed down between many generations across many states, eventually leading us all to the breakfast menu at the Hickory House in Jackson, Missouri 😝

All jokes aside, we’re proud of our French toast offerings and if there’s ever been a week to order yours with blueberries and strawberries, this is it‼️

Doors open at 6 AM through Sunday - we’ll see ya at the door.

📣 After a lot of guesses, we’d like to acknowledge Denise Howard as our winner with the closest guess of 5272 hand cracked eggs here in the month of May.

👏 We’d also like to recognize our cook Sean who cracked a large majority of those this past month. Having been on the Hickory House team since our opening in 2011, Sean has served a variety of roles and we’re grateful for his dedication to our team and mission.

🍳 As the Summer rolls on and the world around us continues to change at the speed of light, we strive to offer the best Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner dinning experience possible, and hand cracking our eggs is just one of the ways that supports our mission on the modern word.

There's a lot of good Burgers around these parts, but if you find yourself on Jackson Boulevard for lunch or dinner, today is a great day to stop in to the Hickory House and give one of ours a try! We're serving until 8 PM tonight.
