🍬 R.I.P. Flicks Candy 🍬

Another sweet piece of childhood nostalgia has disappeared...

If you grew up in the 1960s, '70s, '80s, or '90s, there's a good chance you remember Flicks—those tiny chocolate discs covered in colorful candy shells, packaged in a roll that looked like a strip of movie film. 🎥🍫

Originally introduced in the 1960s by the Fleer Corporation, Flicks quickly became a favorite movie-time treat. Their unique "film reel" packaging made them one of the most recognizable candies on store shelves. Over the years, the brand changed hands several times before quietly disappearing, leaving generations of candy lovers wishing for one more roll.

For many of us, Flicks weren't just candy—they unforgettable childhood memories.

The good news? Train Town Candies & Ice Cream is keeping nostalgia alive! While we can't bring back Flicks, we do have shelves packed with many of the classic candies you grew up loving. From long-forgotten favorites to timeless treats, stepping into our store is like taking a trip back in time.

🥀 R.I.P. U-NO Candy Bar 🥀

Many have asked us to find this candy bar and Today we mourn the loss of a true candy legend.

Before there were gourmet candy bars and a hundred flavors of everything... there was U-NO. Rich chocolate. Creamy center. A candy bar that never needed to follow the crowd because it was already perfect.

You weren't just a candy bar—you were a childhood memory wrapped in foil. You were the prize at the candy store, the snack we hoped our parents would say "yes" to, and the bar we always looked for on the shelf.

Now the shelves are a little emptier, and our sweet tooth is a little sad.

Gone... but never forgotten.

Please join us in a moment of silence by eating your favorite candy in honor of U-NO. 🍫
