Meet the Faces Behind the Flavor–
Mark & Marjo Tesnow

Mark, a proud Ellison Bay native, got his start in the restaurant world at the beloved Viking Restaurant at an early age. Marjo made her way to Door County in 2017, and the couple have called West Jacksonport home since 2019. Together, they share 5 amazing kids, 3 beautiful granddaughters, and 4 adorable fur babies.

Now, they’re bringing their passion for food and community to life! Mark is excited to reintroduce a few favorites from Mike’s Port Pub and also his Viking days—plus, he’s adding his homemade pizza and signature over-the-top chili to the menu.

Meet Scotty Senephimmachac & Brooke Casey

Scotty and Brooke each have worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade. In fact, they met at a restaurant in Illinois where they both worked. A bartender and a server, a tale as old as time!

Scotty moved to Jacksonport 4 years ago, where he’s become a familiar face behind the bar at Mike’s Port Pub. Brooke has been commuting back and forth from Illinois where her school job schedule allowed her to help out at the pub over the past couple summers. She can’t wait to make Door County her home this June!

Together, they are eager to become a part of the community- creating a welcoming spot where you can count on good food, good drinks, good service, and good company.
