Today I was painting for the first time, and honestly... it reminded me a lot of being a business owner.

When I first picked up that paint brush, I didn’t know exactly how it would turn out. I just knew I had to start.

That’s been my journey these last few years.

No blueprint.No guarantees.No perfect plan.

Just faith, hard work, and the willingness to figure it out along the way.

Every challenge taught me something. Every mistake made me better. Every win reminded me why I started.

I’ve learned that success isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up every day, trusting God, and taking the next step.

PRAY. PREPARE. PERFORM. 💯

And most importantly, thank you to every single customer that’s been part of this journey. Whether you’ve bought one plate or a hundred, shared a post, told a friend, stood in line, or supported us from day one...

Y’all helped build Smith’s Kitchen brick by brick. ❤️

He drove a whole HOUR just to see what all the hype was about… 👀🔥

He said, “Man, I keep hearing about y’all everywhere, I had to come see for myself.”

After he placed his order, I went ahead and let him and his wife try some of our famous Mac & Cheese and Candied Yams.

I ain’t gotta do it, but every now and then I like showing love to the people that show love to us. ❤️

but what means the most to me is still taking care of people the same way we did when we first started.

We’ve grown a lot, but one thing that ain’t changed is showing appreciation to our customers whenever I can.

That’s what Smith’s Kitchen been built on from day one.

She said, “I done drove far to get out here MULTIPLE times and y’all were either sold out or closed… this better be FIRE!”

At that point the pressure was on. 😅

Then another customer jumped in and said:

“She not stalking us… but she lowkey stalking us.” 🤣🤣

Truth be told, she just wasn’t about to miss that Mac & Cheese and Candied Yams again. 💯

And honestly… that’s one of the biggest compliments we can get.

The fact that people will drive from different cities, keep coming back, and even take another chance after missing us means more than y’all know.

To everybody that supports us, shares our videos, waits in line, tells their friends, and keeps showing up… THANK YOU. ❤️
