SOLD OUT Truth is… selling out isn’t something I celebrate the way people think.

Every time someone pulls up and we have to say, “I’m sorry, we’re sold out,” it stings. It honestly bothers me to my core. Not because we missed out on making another sale, but because someone chose to spend their hard-earned money and valuable time to come experience something we created… and we have to tell them no.

That hurts.

I tried rushing the process once to keep up with the demand. I thought making more food faster was the answer. Instead, I lost sight of what made us special. The quality slipped, and I promised myself I’d never let that happen again.

Cornbread Bae was built on small batches, slow-smoked meats, homemade sides, and food made with love. That’s who we are. We may not have the biggest kitchen or the fanciest equipment, but every plate that leaves our window carries a piece of our heart.

I’d rather disappoint someone because we sold out than disappoint them with food that wasn’t made the right way.

So if you’ve ever driven across town, waited in line, shared one of our posts, told a friend about us, or even came by and we were sold out… thank you. Thank you for believing in a little dream that’s growing faster than we ever imagined.

We’re working every day to get better without losing what got us here in the first place.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving us. We promise to keep earning that love, one slow-smoked batch at a time.
