Our pal Mike over at The Gold Hill Store is throwing the next upcoming fundraiser to Save The Merc and it’s going to be a real barn burner.
Saturday July 25th, 3pm-7pm Backyard BBQ and H***y Tonk in the Gold Hill Store backyard.

Music by The Hanna Juanita Band, with openers Mose Wilson and Derek Dames Ohl.
The $100 ticket gets you a plate of dinner, wine tasting by Benny and Zoid Selections, and great music all afternoon, PLUS your ticket goes to the campaign by the Save The Merc Non-Profit to raise the $1.5M to buy our beloved mountain gathering place.

There will be Odell Brewing beer and Merc margaritas for sale, a badass silent auction and a great way to spend a summer afternoon while helping the cause.

It’s America’s Birthday Saturday- better known around here as the best day in Jamestown!
The Jamestown 4th of July is small town fun at its finest- pancake breakfast all morning, parade at noon, bands all afternoon and evening.
The whole day supports our Volunteer Fire Department, so come buy lots of raffle tickets and tshirts and pancakes and burgers. It’s the most fun.

Because we’ll be setting up pancake breakfast in the park Friday night to get ready, instead of pizza night and music in the park…
Friday- we will have burgers on the front porch and one of our favorite country bands- RYAN DART BAND playing right on The Merc front porch. He’s Colorado’s coolest country americana star-
Come for a fun twist on a summer night!

Thursday, our good friends PARKIN LOT featuring Banker, Donnie and Kort McCumber are playing a special show inside- there will be dinner, drinks, dessert and real good vibes. Hometown fun.

Wednesday is still the best Open Mic around with the best burgers around.
(closed Saturday for the big party)

Sunday - we are so pleased to host the soulful duo that is THE BROTHERS BURN MOUNTAIN outside for brunch in the park.
We might be sleepy from America’s birthday while making your brunch Sunday- so just come with great attitudes and lots of presents for us!

The best day of the year in Jamestown is almost here!!
This Saturday come support our town and Volunteer Fire Department by having the best time ever. Pancake breakfast, music all day long, parade, wood splitting. Small town glory!

WEDNESDAY
Open Mic continues to be the place to be. Come by 6 to sign up for a spot to shine. Grab a burger while you wait.

THURSDAY
is gonna be dreamy.
Down River is an Austin, Texas-based Americana and roots duo featuring songwriters Rachel Cole and Gus Miller. Originally from Nashville, Rachel toured with Todd Snider through 2025 and currently performs nationally and internationally with Tom Hamilton (founding member of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead). Gus fronts Austin based, Gus Miller & The Buzz Killers, performing bluegrass and Americana. Miller was named a 2025 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour finalist for his song “A Dark Place.” Together, Down River blends Americana, bluegrass, close harmonies, and improvisational live energy into a dynamic and deeply rooted sound. Their debut single - Ponderosa Pine, is scheduled for release this July.

We’re making white lasagna full of Boulder farm veggies. Yum. Plus mussels in champagne, Italian Sausage Ragu in Polenta, Salads and Apps. Dig it!

FRIDAY-
DEAD PHISH SPACESHIP! Take some guys from Dead Phish Orchestra, some guys from Foggy Mountain Spaceship, you get this superband. It is as good as it sounds! Plus Wood Fired Pizzas all night long. Salads, Appetizer plates, Margs, and ice cream and cake.

SATURDAY-
Just a little market to snag a pastry and burrito or a coffee and juice.

SUNDAY-
JOHN SHEPHERD AND FRIENDS open up inside for BILL HUSTON outside in the park! We’ll keep the benedict and french toast specials coming. Come enjoy summer Sundays with a mercmosa and songs telling stories while you watch the river flow.

Summertime!
It’s a gorgeous week too. And not so bad in the shade.

Wednesday- Best Open Mic and Best Smash Burger AROUND. Sing it baby!

THURSDAY- JO FULLER BAND- this band is SO good! We were all blown away last time they came. We’ll make Fried Chicken with Vietnamese Sides, plus peanut noodles with lemongrass pork, Asian Caprese, Carrot Cake. Will be a really groovy night. Come hang out.

FRIDAY- in the park- ZIMBIRA! Nothing beats an Afro-Fusion dance party on a summer night. And it’s Juneteenth. It’s a special event. We’re the luckiest. Plus poems written for you by donation. We’ll have wood fired pizzas as always, don’t forget that there’s lots of choices of plates to dine on while you wait. Aperol Spritzes, Aerial Cocktails and we’ll make more avocado margaritas this week too.

SATURDAY- breakfast and coffee market. Grab some juice and burritos and pastries.

SUNDAY- Father’s Day Brunch~ It’s the place to be Daddios!
Take a load off. And to listen to the sad sweet songs of the poetic troubadour, DANNY SHAFER. Sit by the creek awhile and watch the water flow.
