❤️ A MEAL FOR A NEIGHBOR ❤️

There’s always room at our table.

As we head into the colder months, we’ve been thinking about how much the little things matter.

Getting out of the house. Catching up with an old friend. Sharing a meal with someone you love. Or simply enjoying a little conversation and a change of scenery.

Sometimes something as simple as lunch out can make someone’s whole day.

So, beginning in November, we’re kicking off something special at My Dad’s Place, and we’d love for our community to be part of it!

❤️ Introducing A Meal for a Neighbor!

Here’s how it works:

GIVE A MEAL: For $14, you can purchase a meal for someone else. Choose one of our little message cards, add a handwritten note if you’d like, and we’ll place it on our Neighbor Board. Your kindness can remain completely anonymous!

SHARE A LITTLE KINDNESS: Anyone who could use a meal, a pick-me-up, or simply a reason to get out can choose a card from the board and enjoy lunch from our specially selected menu.

WE’LL PITCH IN, TOO! Your $14 covers the meal, tax, and gratuity. MDP will happily provide the soft drink on us! 🥤

No questions asked. No explanations necessary. And absolutely no judgment.

Maybe finances are tight. Maybe life has been a little overwhelming. Or maybe you just need a little reminder that there are good people in this world.

Whatever the reason, this is for you.

For more than 20 years, you’ve welcomed us into your lives, celebrated milestones at our tables, and supported our little restaurant in more ways than we can count.

We’ll be offering the opportunity to purchase a meal for a neighbor from November through the end of December. And any meals remaining on our board will still be there to brighten someone’s day in the new year!

We’d love to keep that kindness going, one meal at a time.

You buy the meal. We’ll pour the drink. Together, we’ll make someone’s day. ❤️

My Dad’s Place is looking for an experienced BARTENDER!

We’ve got the regulars, the cocktails, the margarita flights, the busy nights, and a great crew. Now we need another great personality behind the bar!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

🍹 Experience! Bartending experience is a must. Confidence behind a busy bar is essential!

🍻 Personality! Someone who loves people and makes guests feel right at home.

💪 Hustle! A natural multitasker who can bartend, greet guests, serve tables, and jump in wherever needed.

🙌 Teamwork! Dependable, motivated, and willing to pitch in without being asked.

📅 AVAILABILITY! This position requires EVERY SATURDAY, one weekday shift, and occasional Sundays as needed. Additional flexibility is a big plus! And yes, you’ll find our owners and managers working right alongside you on those busy weekends. We’re all in this together!

💬 Communication! We understand everyone has a life outside of work! We just ask for honest, upfront communication about availability, flexibility, and scheduling commitments. Being someone we can count on matters!
