As we head into the holidays, we know this season can be a little harder for some of our neighbors — especially with the upcoming EBT service interruptions in Oregon.
Here at Milk & Bean Coffee House in Jefferson, we want to be more than a place to grab your morning coffee — we want to be a place where our community looks out for each other.
We’re introducing a Community Food Exchange, right inside the shop.
Here’s how it works:
🥫 Take what you need. No questions asked.
🧺 Leave what you can. Non-perishable foods, pantry staples, or hygiene items are all appreciated.
If you’ve got a little extra in your pantry, consider dropping off items like:
• Rice, beans, pasta, canned goods, oatmeal
• Peanut butter, soups, and sauces
• Toiletries or baby items (diapers, wipes, etc.)
And if you’re feeling stretched thin this season — please come by and take what you need. That’s exactly what it’s there for.
Let’s make sure no one in our community goes without this holiday season.
❤️ From all of us at Milk & Bean Coffee House, thank you for being part of something good.
