I have fond memories of going to Woodland Mall with my mom when I was younger. It was always an adventure saved for Saturdays. We’d sometimes even take the bus. Most of the times we didn’t buy anything. It was window shopping, throwing pennies in the fountain making wishes and playing in the little circle thing in the entrance of the Children’s Place. One thing was certain though, she always made sure there was a little spending money for a giant sugar cookie with M&Ms from Mrs. Fields. Do you remember? Cookies as big as our heads (when we were kids). Not much could be bad while we were sharing one of those bad boys. Mom always made sure us girls got the chocolates and she’d eat just the cookie.
Here is the “Mall Cookie”. A slightly smaller version of the 80s mall classic. Buttery and slightly crunchy edges with a soft, almost dough-like center, adorned with that candy that melts in your mouth and not in your hands.
These are headed to NYC with our high school’s music department for their tour. 💛💚
Safe travels & have so much fun CCHSMD!
