Carminati Creamery Carminati Creamery has been making gelato from scratch, using dairy from local farms, since 2016. And from there, Carminati Creamery was born.

Darin Carminati is a local gelato maker born and raised in Glenside, Pennsylvania. This all started in 2015, when Darin and his wife, Amy, decided it would be fun to start a business involving something they love... ice cream! Fast forward to January 2016, when Darin began to teach himself how to make gelato by reading books, watching videos, and, of course, doing some “field” research. Well, as a

vid ice cream enthusiasts, Darin and Amy were simply blown away by the taste and creaminess of homemade gelato. In May 2017, the gelato tricycle was delivered! We now had the perfect complement to our tasty Italian desserts. In September 2018 Carminati Creamery came to life with a shop of our own, located at 448 N. Easton Road, Glenside, Pa. You can find us mostly at our shop, however, we are involved in local events and farm markets. We can also be booked for personal events, including weddings, graduations, birthdays, corporate, block parties, and the like. Please, give us a call or send a message for more information. Our gelato and sorbet ingredients are fresh and made using dairy from local farms. It is also gluten free, and there are several dairy-free options for those with sensitivities. All of our sorbet's are dairy-free and gluten free.
