Here’s your sweet treat forecast for this week T H E R O Y A L T E R N: Raspberry-Peach Pavlova and “That Peanut Butter Thing!”
Our gluten-free Pavlova features a crispy/chewy vanilla meringue shell filled with a roasted S.C. peach half, fresh peach slices, juicy raspberry curd, and lightly sweetened whipped cream, set in a pool of vanilla bean crème anglaise.
And we like to keep a good thing going - especially when it’s peanut butter and chocolate! Our “Thing” has layers of light peanut butter mousse and rich peanut butter cream atop a milk chocolate, salted peanut, and peanut butter cookie crumb base topped with bittersweet ganache, a peanut butter-glazed milk chocolate mousse quenelle, and hand-piped bittersweet chocolate lattice décor, finished with salty caramel sauce. Sounds like a mouthful because it is!
