We at the cottage would like to wish you a very merry Christmas! As you know we had planned to get together and celebrate Christmas with our Cottage family, but due to inclement weather challenges and the safety risks the snow poses, we are unable to open the doors today. It deeply saddens our hearts to know that a tradition is broken. We, like everyone else are trying our hardest in these troubling times. There is no doubt that it would have made this Christmas so much more meaningful if we were able to open the cottage doors once again. Just hold faith that that day will eventually come. Please remember to be thankful for the families and friends that are able to spend this holiday with you! We sincerely wish everyone a safe and merry Christmas! We'll be sure to keep you in our prayers this Christmas, and we humbly ask that you do the same for us as we try and work everything out and hopefully be able to restore the cottage as a place that feels like home. A place where you want to spend time making precious memories!

So.... my daughter attends ETSU and had an assignment Monday . She was to write a letter to the person she felt played a major role in her positive development. I never thought she would pick me! I have never concidered myself a great mommy, only a mommy that was completely in love with her children. My heart is so full !
It seems so many people out there would like to see us fail at The Cottage. It is sad because this is the oldest restaurant in Johnson City, Tn. And a historic place loved by so many for so long! My family has put our all into keeping this beautiful piece of history alive! We pray everyday to bring this restaurant back to life!
For so many reasons I thrive to succeed! The main reason is the young lady that wrote the letter I shared with you guys in this post and her brother! I want nothing more than for my babies to know that I love them and to show them that if you work hard and with a pure heart do their best they will succeed!
I am asking each of you to please pray for The cottage and our family! I will do all I can to keep us going! Long live The Cottage!!!!
Sincerely,
❤️JO KAMMIRE
