A few weeks ago, my friend messaged me to say she had more blackberries than she knew what to do with and asked if I wanted some.

Absolutely.

A few days later, I swung by the gorgeous farm property and came home with buckets of these juicy beauties. Blended and strained into a creamy yogurt sherbet base, they’ve become what I think is our best Blackberry Frozen Yogurt yet.

🍍✨ This batch of tepache is getting ready to become our next Pint Drop flavor: **Tepache Sorbet**.

Tepache is a traditional Mexican beverage made by fermenting pineapple cores and skins with warm spices like cinnamon and clove, then sweetened with piloncillo, an unrefined Mexican cane sugar. The result is a refreshing, tart, fermented bubbly flavor.

We’ve taken those bright, tangy notes and transformed them into a sorbet that’s vibrant, refreshing, and perfect for a summertime scoop.
