Dear Mac and Cheese lovers,

It is with a saddened heart and deep regret that I must write this post. After a recent divorce, depression and tough choices, I have been forced to close Mactopia Food Truck permanently. It was a pleasure serving all of you and meeting so many wonderful fellow mac and cheese lovers around the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas. We had a blast and I would do it all over again if I could. My staff and I will miss all of you and wish you all a great rest of your 2024. Maybe some day we will see you out there again.

I'm still really bummed the food truck is on pause right now, but I'm happy my new traveling Executive Chef job has me doing food that I'm proud to serve, and can have fun with. Corporate dining still has its perks. Here are a few pics of catering and specialty plates my Regional Chef and I did together. And..... a random pic of Milo chillin on the couch next to me. 🐈‍⬛

Happy New Year, Mac and Cheese lovers! I hope you all had a great holiday! Unfortunately, I bring sad news to 2024. Due to some unexpected personal changes, I am no longer able to keep Mactopia Food Truck alive and running. It breaks my heart and saddens me deeply that after two very successful seasons, I will be closing. I hope this isn't the final outcome for Mactopia Food Truck and I am able to come back again in the future to bring you all your cheese fix. I will miss you all so very much and I appreciate all the love and support received over the past years. I hope everyone has a wonderful 2024 and wish you all the very best!

Hey, Mac and Cheese lovers. It is with our deepest regret that we have to announce our 2023 season will be ending effective today. Unfortunately, we got the news that the truck needs another minor repair and will cause us to be down for the week, which was already our last week of the season. Our sincerest apologies go out to all the businesses we were scheduled this week, along with our wonderful customers. We are going to make sure we are at 100% for next year, so we don't have any missed business. Thank you so very much to everyone who came to support us and to all of the businesses that allowed us the privilege to serve your staff. We will be back open 4.1-10.31.2024. We wish everyone a great holiday season, and we will see you all next April! 🧀❤️🧀

Hey, Mac lovers. Unfortunately, the repairs on the truck earlier in the month did not fix the problem....So we are getting it back into the shop to see where to go from here. Once again, we are so terribly sorry for the inconvenience. I will post updates when we know more. As of right now, we are unable to make our scheduled locations this week. Thank you.
