I'm very close to being able to try this app I've been working on with an actual driver. I have an important question though!
If there are no extra fees for you as the customer, what do you think a fair delivery price is for the driver coming from JC to Manhattan? JC to Chapman/Abilene? Or if I set a 20 mile radius? The plan is for the delivery fee to go straight to the driver, no ifs ands or buts.

I wasn't sure how much it would cost to hire a builder for an app, so I decided to try and do it myself. I've been working on it every free moment I get.... Almost done with the backend and will be ready to test it with a driver soon! No more insane commission fees thru doordash or Uber. Just straight from me to you 😭🙌🏿

When all is said and done, hopefully, this will be something all of my fellow small business owners will be able to use as well. Everything in our control where it belongs! I'm really proud of myself right now lol

Small businesses here know what I mean when I say PCS season is ROUGH, but despite that, I've had a lot of new customers lately and it's really been a pleasure meeting them! That's one part of business I've really enjoyed this last almost 6 years.

➡️I'm about to the point in building this app that I'll be able to test it out with my own driver(s), hopefully in the next few weeks.

I've been thinking of going back to pre-ordered plates and have my own delivery drivers, I know it would be a little extra effort and less convenient than door dash/uber but I'm sick of these fees and Ft. Riley/ Manhattan deliveries are still not working😐
What yall think?

I have also been working on building a delivery app for my business to skip the middle man, but until then.... 👀
